About Me

My passion is supporting people who have been impacted by trauma or have mental health concerns. I know that no one will go through life without experiencing emotional challenges and believe therapy is a key to living a more fulfilling life.

I am an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and have spent the last 7 years of my career working in sexual assault and mental health. My passion is supporting people who have been impacted by traumatic events or are experiencing mental health concerns.

I believe that every person is unique and deserves an individualised approach to counselling that is tailored to their specific needs and goals.

Through active listening, empathy and evidence based techniques, I work with people to help them gain insight into their thoughts, feelings and behaviours. I am particularly passionate in helping people move forward from significant traumatic events, particularly through the use of trauma focused interventions and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy.

Away from The Space I am passionate about living an active lifestyle, primarily for the mental health benefits exercise. I love socialising and connecting with people, as well as spending quality time with my dogs.

Whilst I love being social, I enjoy my own quiet time and personal downtime, especially if it involves a book and coffee!

Today you are You, that is truer than true.
There is no one alive who is Youer than You
